The product that I always have to open the tube for is the Intensive Alpharet Overnight Cream (£134) from the Skin Better Science. It’s a super combination of alpha hydroxy acid (glycolic acid) and retinol, that’s really done wonders for my skin quality.

I have been using AlphaRet Overnight Cream in my night-time skincare routine for a good few years. This cream has been my steadfast companion, delivering remarkable results for my skin. Retinols are known for plumping collagen in the skin making it firmer and stronger, exfoliating for more smoothness and helping to fade any hyperpigmentation and dark marks.

I love it because (for me) it's milder retinol that does wonders for my skin. Its transformative effects are undeniable, leaving my complexion looking rejuvenated and radiant. Even though it’s potent, it’s been formulated in a way that minimises any irritation.

When I use AlphaRet Overnight Cream, I feel like my skin is getting exactly what it needs to keep it in tip-top health and conditions, especially at night time. You start to see results very quickly, in as little as four weeks my skin is more refined.

I discovered it through an aesthetician who recommended it as part of a treatment plan. Since then, it has become an absolute staple in my skincare arsenal.

My favourite way to use AlphaRet Overnight Cream is to apply on a clean face after cleansing in the evening. A pea-size amount is enough. I tend to use it every day, but if you’re new to it, a couple of times a week is fine to start with. Don’t forget to use sunscreen generously during the day as well.
