ON REPEAT: Amina Aden

Amina Aden is an experienced pharmaceutical scientist and skin health advocate passionate about delivering advanced holistic solutions for skin of colour. It’s no surprise she founded melanin-rich centred skincare brand, MelaVie to target key concerns of hyperpigmentation and dark marks.

Her skill lies in developing skincare that connects body, mind and community using vegan and halal ingredients.

Truly a feat and we’re thrilled to find out her favourite make up product that’s on repeat.

The product I always hit the pan with is the Huda Beauty Easy Bake and Snatch Powder (£32). I use BOTH the press and loose powder version.

I’ve been using them for about six years, usually for quick every day make up and but also for full glam looks!

My sister is a huge Huda Beauty fan and since she introduced them to me, I’ve also become a devotee! I love them in particular because of the yellow undertone which matches my skin perfectly for a flawless and radiant finish. They also make my skin look a lot brighter.

They sit very well on top of all my foundations without looking cakey - lightweight, doesn’t clog the pores or cause breakouts or spots. The finish is very smooth!

<sounds like the perfect setting powder>

I keep the pressed powder in my purse to touch up my make up, especially on the t-zone where like many women I can sometimes get shiny.
